Health
problems in rainy season in India and Asian Countries have three main causes: food, insects and water,Contamination of water &
food can happen easily in rainy days.
Flies & mosquitoes have a field day
(or night!) and may spread dangerous illness such as malaria, dengue,
typhoid, hepatitis & other gastrointestinal diseases. Even walking
through stagnant and contaminated water poses infection. Wet & humid
conditions may also make us prone to respiratory & skin problems.
Monsoon playing hide & seek makes matters worse- with floods in some parts of the country & droughts in other.
While we depend on monsoon to give us the life-sustaining rains, we have to be careful.
